Students were asked to watch TV commercials and/or listen to radio station for advertisements last night.
Today students worked in groups to make charts of the different types of commercials they heard and which technique they fit into. We then brainstormed different merchandise students could created commercials for. Students got into groups, they are permitted to work alone or in groups up to three people. They must choose a type of merchandise and create a commercial for that item. The item must be a made up item they create and cannot be something that already exists. If they choose a body spray then they have to create a new original product name. They will have to create a advertisement for their product along with a commercial that they will present to the class.
